How to set up an Upsell offer?

Please follow these steps below to create your first offer with Koala Upsells & Gifts!

Upsells

Create an Upsell Offer

Go to the main dashboard within the app and click 'Create Upsell' or 'Create an Upsell Offer'.

Select offer exposure

Select the offer exposure of your choice from a list of upsell templates.

Upsell popup

Upsell item(s shown in the popup are added together with the main (trigger) product.)

Product page upsell

Only the product you choose to add from this offer will be added to cart. It works similarly to a “You may also like” upsell.

Product add-ons

When you select a product from this offer, the main product will also be added to cart.

Offer rules

Choose the products that will qualify for the offer.

Upsell product(s)

Select the Upsell products by clicking 'Browse' or searching.

Choose the discount type between 'Percentage discount' or 'Amount off each' in the 'Customer gets' section'.

Finally, choose the discount name, which the customers will see in their cart and at checkout in the 'Discount name' section.

Widget & Customize

Customize the widget to your specific setup. Depending on the offer exposure you choose, the options might look different.
Click 'Show more' to expand the colors and typography settings.

Note: While editing settings, such as in the Widget section, changes will be applied in real-time and can be viewed immediately in the Preview section at the top right.

Schedule

Click 'Show more' and choose when your offer starts, with the option to set an end date as well. You can also leave the offer to run continuously.

Translations

Change the name of the offer’s discount code to match the languages available on your store.

Note: The languages displayed in the Translations section are those not set as your store’s default language
