How do I place the gift below the main product in cart?

Currently, placing the gift product below the main product in cart isn’t possible.

This is because of the order in which Shopify puts products in the cart.Items are displayed from most recently added to oldest, in a top-to-bottom order (as shown in the screenshot below).

Firstly, the main product called "The Multi-managed Snowboard" gets added to cart and afterwards our app is able to tell whether or not the customer is eligible for the offer or not and only then proceeds to add the gift to cart.
