Why can't I remove the gift from cart?


If you cannot remove the free gift product from your cart, please follow these steps below.


Remove gift from cart steps


  1. Main dashboard


  • Edit your existing offer or create a new gift offer.


  1. Reward behavior


  • Scroll down to the Reward behavior section.


  1. 'Give customers a choice of products to add'


  • Select 'Give customers a choice of products to add'.


Side note: When having the 'Automatically add products to cart' option selected, you may also remove the gift from cart by removing the main/trigger product from cart. This is related to the 'Works in reverse' option and it's enabled by default in the Options section of your offer's settings.Disabling this option, will leave the gift product in cart, however the discount code will be removed, leaving the product at full price.

Once you have set everything up correctly and saved the offer, you should have a pop up displayed just like below and it should show up on your screen once you add the required item(s) to cart.


Now, you can remove the free gift from the cart whenever you'd like to.
