Why can't I activate an offer?


If you're unable to activate your current offer, here are some tips that may help you activate it and prevent this from happening again in the future.

Steps


  1. Offer rules


  • If you have the 'Specific Product' option selected and a good few products/variants selected, try removing some of them.


  1. Offer rules - 'Applies to:'


Try changing the offer rule from 'Specific Product' to any of these options:


  • Any Product,
  • Product Tag,
  • Except Product,
  • Specific Collection.


  1. Cart, Customer & Store rules


If you have multiple rules, such as 'Monetary value' added to your offer, try removing some of them:


  • For example, if you have the Total quantity rule and it's set to minimum 1 items and the maximum is left blank, you can remove that rule because the offer by default works when you add the first unit, if you were to have no rules at all.
  • So in this particular situation, the total quantity rule isn't needed.


  1. Reward


  • If a product has many variants in the Reward section, consider removing some and keeping only the ones you truly want your customers to choose from.


Note: You may keep however many offer exposures you wish to have, since that doesn't impact on whether or not you can activate your offer
